The Moss Side & Hulme Community Development Trust (Windrush Millennium Centre) is a UK Online Centre and offers ESOL and Computer courses.
It also offers drop in sessions when courses are not being run.
Moss side Leisure Centre
A fully equipped leisure centre attached to Hulme High Street, opposite Fosters Brewery, just behind ASDA Hulme. With a wide range of memberships available, the centre can meet your choice of facilities and activity, whatever your budget. Our swim and Gym Membership includes unlimited use of the fitness suite, strength space and swimming pool. For an alternative – add workout classes to your membership or to wind down – add the health suite.
Aquatics Centre
Manchester Aquatics Centre is the purpose-built, state-of-the-art swimming facility, situated in the centre of Manchester (close to the Universities), that stands as a fantastic legacy to the success of the Commonwealth Games 2002. It is the only complex in the UK with two 50-metre pools as well as separate diving and leisure pools. The pool can be split to offer 25m and 23m swimming.
Chorlton Leisure Centre
Situated just past the community library next to the Unicorn, the centre offers a variety of activities for all ages including play sessions for children under the age of 5, multiple sporting activities in our impressive sports hall for the chance to enjoy a game of badminton (not full size court) or squash. Our fitness studio, very popular for circuit training, welcomes groups and individuals on a casual or membership basis with exclusive ladies only and 50+ programmes.
Withington Leisure Centre
Located on Burton Road, not far from the Palatine / Wilmslow Road junction. With a wide range of memberships available, the centre can meet your choice of facilities and activity, whatever your budget. Levenshulme Swimming Pool
Located directly opposite the library, the pools have been part of the local community for years, providing a variety of swim sessions – Free Swimming for Manchester residents 16 & under and Over 60′s (registration forms below), Aqua Fit, Parent & Toddler Swim, 50+ Swim, Water Polo, Pool Parties, Senior Citizens Morning, Swimlife Swimming Lessons (see pdf below for scheme structure details), Anti-Natal Swim, Fun Sessions and Single Sex Only Sessions, to name a few.
The Zion Centre
Zion Arts Centre is dedicated to inspiring creativity in young people, with activities including after-schools workshops in dance, drama, music, radio production, visual art, creative media and lots more. A creative hub that many artists choose as a base to make their work, house their office or just hang out. We also offer work placements, mentoring, artists shadowing, apprenticeships and anything else we can provide to help people develop creative careers.
The Hulme Medical Centre
The practice aims to provide a high quality primary health care service, with a friendly and caring environment for patients, staff and doctors. We are an undergraduate teaching practice and may occasionally have student doctors present as well as other healthcare professionals, ie student nurses, student midwives.
